This Privacy Policy describes how Red Fools Studio LLC ("we", "us", or "our") handles data for the video game Oblation across all supported platforms, including mobile devices (Google Play Store) and desktop platforms (Steam).

1. OVERVIEW AND CORE PRIVACY COMMITMENT

Oblation is designed as a self-contained, offline single-player experience. We respect your privacy and do not collect, process, transmit, or monetize your personal data.

2. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

We do not collect any personal or sensitive user data. Specifically:

  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IP addresses, location data, or device identifiers.

  • No Analytics: We do not use third-party telemetry, tracking SDKs, or analytics services.

  • No Ads or Servers: Oblation contains no in-game advertisements or targeted ad-tracking scripts, and we do not maintain external servers to collect or receive data from your gameplay sessions.

3. LOCAL GAME DATA AND SAVE FILES

Oblation generates non-personal game data stored locally on your device within the application's designated local storage directory (such as the Godot user directory path).

  • Stored Content: Local data consists strictly of in-game story and level progress, unlocked content, achievements, player inventory, character state, and preferences (such as volume and control mappings).

  • Steam Cloud (Desktop): If you enable Steam Cloud save functionality through the Steam client, your local save files may be synchronized across your devices via Steam’s native cloud infrastructure. This process is governed by Valve Corporation’s Privacy Policy and Steam Subscriber Agreement.

  • Google Play (Mobile): Local save data remains restricted to your mobile device's app-specific local directory.

  • Data Transmission: Local save data is never transmitted to Red Fools Studio LLC or any third parties.

4. HOW DATA IS USED

Local save files are used exclusively by your device to load your game progress and apply your custom settings.

5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your game save data remains on your local storage for as long as Oblation is installed on your device.

  • Manual Deletion: You can reset or delete your local save files directly through the in-game options menu or by manually deleting the files in your device's file manager.

  • Uninstallation: Uninstalling the game will remove locally stored application files according to your operating system's standard procedures.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Oblation does not target or knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Because the game does not collect personal data from any user, it fully complies with global child privacy regulations, including COPPA and GDPR-K.

7. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any revisions will be published with an updated Last Updated date at the top of this document.
